What is Upward Bound? The High School Upward Bound program located at the Metropolitan State College of Denver is a federally funded program designated to assist low income and first generation college-bound high school students. The HSUB Program in Denver has been hosted since 1973 by MSCD, one of the nation's premiere urban colleges. Goals of the Program Successful
students will accomplish the following goals:
The HSUB Program consists of an academic year, a summer module, and a bridge program for the college bound high school graduates. All program participants are involved in monthly social, cultural, and educational activities during the academic year component, and activities weekly during the summer component.
